Don't forget my 6k kiriban, screen shot it and win a free commission! =)

I have become a bit over whelmed with the work load I set before myself. I have a lot of half done projects and I'm trying to wrangle them all. If I promised to trade with you, or join your contest and you are not listed below PLEASE notify me, I am only human. =)

Hello all! To those of you awaiting trades from me and/or contest entries I am working on them, I did a lot of colored pencil work and tablet work this week which has systematically murdered my wrist, I am trying to take a day or two off and let it heal before I commence in the abuse! ;)

Be vigelant for my 6k kiriban, as always the winning screenshot will receive a free commission of your choice!

Commissions:OPEN
Trades:OPEN (but will have a time delay due to my current to do list)

Now onto the main attraction!

This week's feature is my amazing photographer friend :iconearthhart: ! His shots are truly amazing, he has a true and open minded love for nature, and it really shows. Share a slice of how he sees the world through his view finder, you'll be a better person for it!

:iconkaided: captured my kiriban at 5,500! Don't fret, I'll continue to do them every thousand, the next being 6,000 for free commissions, I really enjoy them! =)

Not much else new, I have several more animals of my ancient and dusty 100 animal challenge ink lined and ready to digitally color when I find time, Lots of contest uploads half done and right around the corner. But as always, I'm up for trades and commissions so don't hesitate to ask! :glomp:

First off, as no one claimed 5,000 kiriban I am accepting a screenshot at 5,500 for a free commission. Catch it and win!

I have decided to (or do my very best) feature someone each week. I want to do this because I have met so many wonderful people here on DA, and I want others to appreciate them as much as I do! I don't want this to become a popularity contest though, if you'd like to be featured feel free to note me, but for the most part I will feature artists that I not only have had the pleasure of conversing with online, but who have befriended me and whose work has touched my heart. Without further ado, my first feature is :iconodora:

She not only excells at fine painting, but also photography and some very beautiful writing! You will be hard pressed to find a nicer person please drop by her page =)

Okay so first off no one has come forth to claim my 5k kiriban. Therefore, the new kiriban page views number is 5,500. If you catch it, take a screen shot and link it to me to redeem it for a free commission. No reasonable request will be denied, aka no oil on canvas =p If you want traditional and toss me a few bucks on paypal I'll even fork over the original ;)

Now onto my stupid questions, I am in need for digital advice!!!

I am very curious how others save their photoshop works. I have always scanned my images as jpg and saved them as such in photoshop, but I am noticing undesirable pixalation in my pieces that take longer to complete due to being more detailed. Also if I should have the photoshop file as something other than jpg should I also save the original line art as something else from the scanning?

Also, what is your favorite color? =) (I had to end such complicated but silly questions in a fun manner!)
