Another for the 100 animal challenge, this was actually pretty challenging and perhaps I didn't do much to liven it up, slugs are pretty placid creatures. They have slimey coatings to protect themselves and communicate through hormones. They are also hermaphrodites, and after exchanging sperm they dictate when they will produce a clutch of eggs.
