Mist the blue Dragoness Posable Art Doll

Finally done!!

The character is the lovely Mist and belongs to I made her as a contest prise for winning my PAINTED! Chapter 2 mini contest, I'll hold another for the end of chapter 3 it was quite fun. =3 Mist was really fun to work on, her facial structure reminded me a lot of the synapsids (pre dinosaur creatures) and all the details were really fun to figure out how to create, her horns are rooted to their tips with thick wire and the crest up her nose is 16 gauge wire tipped in clay and glued down (just to be safe) and then painted. Mist has one red scale to represent her mate Blaze the red dragon, it can be found nestled among the blue scales on her chest. I wanted to keep a plush feel without completely losing the fact that she should be leathery all over so I used a super soft fleece that I hand dyed. She has pearl, blue glass, and opalite beads on her neck and body with pearls lining her delicate wings.
