Love Daughter Tribal

This is a design I made for a friend who commissioned me to make his next tattoo. The top coil reaches his neck, the large swirl goes on the shoulder while the lower portions wrap around his arm. This took a bit of technical thinking to calculate how it would sit on his arm correctly. The chinese symbols break down into:

Love with all your heart/love of family
Female
My child

Or in English terms: I love my daughter. I had a lot of fun doing the research on the different symbols and meanings for this, it really is a form of art in and of itself! Ironically i did this research because I double checked the reference tattoo he provided me and where it should have said "I love my daughter" It actually broke down into a proverb about "If you love your daughter you love her husband as well" It might as well have said "Hi I'm a stupid American!" rofl.
