You know I guess it's destiny you wrote this, I woke up thinking about how I still have the bits of rainbow fur together and I should make an asian one too lol! The first run of Asian dragons were priced lower due to air holes/ etc while I learned how to cast correctly, the later versions like yours would be are flawless so their price was raised 10.00. A rainbow dragon would be 65.00 +10.00 shipping.
My networking skills are not where I would like them to be, but some things have fallen into place this year, it took a while for anything to sell on etsy, but out of the blue I started getting commissioned by people who didn't know me from here or fa, it's still not a weekly or sometimes even monthly event mind you, but I probably do a commission every 2 months and sell at least something small like my opal vials monthly... hang in there
Hi Skippy I mulled over this over the weekend and not to deterr you, but I was thinking about how half of that 10 bucks would need to go towards the shipping which would detract from the amount of fur I would send. I can't help but wonder if your money wouldn't better be spent somewhere like jo anne's craft stores in the your area? They have some great basic starter furs and each store has what is called a remnants bin, which is the end of a yard roll that they fold up and sell for half price. You might get a lot more for your money doing something like that! Just a suggestion, I will still do business with you if you want.
Well I would go to Joan's but all they have is fleece. It is nota good Joan's, the people don't even know what faux fur or fo fur is to tell you the truth. Heck they don't even know what minky is. I have gone to every fabric and craft store in West Virginia and pensilvania. No faux fur anywhere. My mom thinks that it is ridiculous how much it is online, even esty. So that's out of the questin. But if u want to could you make a listing on esty for the fur. If not its ok. But thx anyway
The best value I have found for really high quality long pile furs is fabricempire.com but they sell by the yard only and that gets pricey, I was buying other artist's scraps on etsy or by the foot and I am convinced they are buying a full yard off fabricempire and reselling it for a stupid amount.... so your mom is right there! I could probably sell you an assortment of white, grey with white tip, camel brown, wolf brown (black tipped) or black, you could pick 2 or 3 and just let me know what size amounts you need I'd hate to send too little for a doll project. etsy would just take their 3.5% cut off the top of it so I'd rather just do it directly if that's okay with you? I can upload a photo of the colors that interest you.
Ok that would be great I am making a fox dragon so if u have any orange that would be great, but if not surprise me. Oh I only need like 30 in long x 10 in. Wide. But only if u have orangish colors. if not then surprise me with size and color. I can make it work. If u don't care u can post pics of colors(any) I would be grateful
wow that is almost a yard long lol! closest I can get is www.joann.com/darice-designer-... , that's not the exact brand but that is the brown wolf fur's basic color. And for 10 bucks this is a one time only thing, the fur amount is worth more than that and most of it will probably be shipping, fortunately for you A. I got a bunch as half price remnants and B. I'm a nice person How does that color work for you? You can tint it oranger yourself pretty easily with acrylic paint watered down
OMG, they're so cute and FLUFFY. I want the ice blue one so bad. Or the red one peeking out in the back. Their faces are so cute. (If you have any left after your show, I may be interested in obtaining one.... )
